Where Our Legacy Began

Established in 1970, Paul White Company embarked on its journey as a tile specialty company. Over the decades, while our offerings have expanded, our passion for tile remains unwavering. Representing leading tile manufacturers, we take pride in our vast selection of top-tier, aesthetically pleasing tiles.

Tiles are versatile and find their rightful place in various residential and commercial settings. They are the go to choice for spaces like kitchens, bathrooms, entryways, and other areas that witness a flurry of activity.

WHY CHOOSE TILE FLOORING?

Durability: Tiles stand the test of time, handling wear and tear with grace.

Ease of Maintenance: Cleaning tiles is a breeze. A simple wipe-down with a wet or dry cloth can restore them to their original state.

Aesthetic Appeal: Tile can add depth, color, and style to any room. Whether you’re inclined towards timeless classics or keen on the latest design trends, our collection won’t disappoint.

From floors to walls, our tiles can be used to craft intricate designs, including decorative borders and accents. For those looking to infuse an artisanal vibe, our mosaics are a perfect pick.

PORCELAIN VS. CERAMIC TILE: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

This question comes up a lot. There is an overflow of technical information about the differences in tile bodies and glazes.

The simple answer is that porcelain is a sand-based material fired at a higher temperature than most ceramics, lending to more durability and tending to be better suited for floors. Ceramics are generally clay-based and fired at lower temperatures than porcelain, making them, in most cases, better suited for walls. That being said, some newer ceramics on the market are being manufactured at higher temperatures to withstand more impact, like foot traffic.

Rule of thumb: any tile installed on a floor can also be installed on walls. Both porcelain and ceramic tiles are popular choices in flooring and decorative applications. TILE MAINTENANCE VS. OTHER FLOORING TYPES

E

Stain and Moisture Resistance

Glazed tiles are naturally resistant to stains and moisture, making them ideal for areas prone to spills or high humidity.

E

Cleaning

Unlike certain flooring types that require regular polishing or special cleaning agents, glazed tiles are relatively hassle-free. Regular sweeping and occasional mopping are sufficient to keep them looking pristine.

E

Durability

Tiles, especially porcelain, are known for their durability and can withstand high foot traffic, making them suitable for busy areas in homes or commercial spaces.

E

Longevity

With proper care, tiles can last for decades without showing significant wear or damage.
